FAQ: Does this mean Final Sword Productions now owns Valdemar?
No. Not only no, but hell no. We've signed a contract that allows us to create the roleplaying game and sourcebooks using the Valdemar setting. The setting, all the characters, everything to do with Valdemar, belongs to Mercedes Lackey. It's hers. We claim no ownership of her world, setting, characters.
FAQ: So, what's this D6 thing?
A: D6 is a game system used for some RPGs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D6_System . We're using D6 Dramatics, which was created by Ken Burnside of Ad Astra Games [Ad Astra is another imprint of Final Sword Productions; Ad Astra specializes in board and miniatures games].
FAQ: So, you mean I'll be able to play in Valdemar on the computer?
A: No, we have the tabletop/pen and paper license, not computer games. Think Dungeons and Dragons, not WOW.
FAQ: Okay, so just what is this type of roleplaying?
A: It's a form of interactive storytelling using dice.

A: We're not ready to announce a release date. But, updates will be posted here, along with snippets, and hopefully some artwork as the months progress.
